Who is behind MERLIN

RR Cherla, Bengaluru, India. A technology veteran who built large systems inside big organisations. At Nokia he headed program management and R&D units and was a member of the leadership team. At Nokia Siemens Networks in Gurgaon he ran the Consulting and Systems Integration unit as its Business Head. At Siemens he was General Manager for software products for over eleven years, after five years as a consultant with Tata Consultancy Services.

Since 2015 his work has been on money itself. He led TRAX, an early framework for bank deposits and fund flows on a distributed ledger, featured at the Hyperledger conference in Basel. He now consults on tokenized deposits, stablecoins and CBDC.

MERLIN brings the two together: AI put to work on a company's cash, with the controls a large organisation expects.
